Daily Tribune, November 8, 2007 Bridges: Dialogs toward a culture of peace, a series of talks to be given by 21 Nobel Peace Prize laureates, recently had a press launch at Dusit Hotel. Spearheaded by the International Peace Foundation (IPF), Bridges will continuously take place in the Philippines and Thailand from November 2007 to April 2008. The Bridges Philippine leg is chaired by Ayala Corp. chairman and CEO Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala (center) and SGV Group and Asian Institute of Management (AIM) founding chairman Washington SyCip (third from left). They are supported by Gold sponsors BMW Group, represented during the launch by BMW Philippines president Andreas Biehler (second from left) and Dusit Hotels and Resorts, represented by Philippine Hoteliers president Gerhard F.H. Kropp (far right). Silver sponsors are Microsoft, represented by Microsoft Philippines managing director Rafael Rollan (far left), the Yuchengco Group of Companies and Ogilvy Asia Pacific. The Bridges events will be held at the Angeles University, Asian Institute of Management, Ateneo de Davao and Ateneo de Manila Universities, De La Salle University, Mapua Institute of Technology, the University of San Carlos, the University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines, and at the Department of Science and Technology.
