Windows and Bridges of Peace

Microsoft Philippines and the International Peace Foundation recently inked a partnership agreement to work together in this year's "Bridges-Dialogues Towards a Culture of Peace" Summit.

Bridges is an annual event series, which the International Peace Foundation hosts in partnership with various national and international organizations, institutions and enterprises. This year's Bridges will be held in Thailand and the Philippines from November 2007 to April 2008.

During the six-month period, Nobel Laureates from various fields (Economics, Physics, Medicine, Chemistry and Peace) will visit the host countries to start the dialogue process toward a culture of peace and build bridges by a sharing of ideas and thoughts and the development of innovative forms of cooperation.

HRH Prince Alfred of Liechtenstein, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the International Peace Foundation, Mr. Uwe Morawetz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Peace Foundation and Antonio Javier, Jr., Managing Director of Microsoft Philippines co- signed the contract held at the Dusit Hotel Nikko in Makati City.
