| www.plantersbank.com.ph, Monday, April 23,2007 A member of European royalty paid a visit to Plantersbank   corporate headquarters in Makati to promote a program that would hook up the   country deeper into the global intellectual circuit for the promotion of "a   culture of peace and development in a globalized world." Prince Alfred of Liechtenstein, who is chair of the advisory board   of the Vienna-based International Peace Foundation, launched in Makati the first   ASEAN-wide event series, called "Bridges: Dialogues Toward a Culture of Peace,"   to run continuously across the islands alone from November up to April next   year. The Prince accompanied by Mr. Uwe Morawetz, chairman of the   International Peace Foundation, briefed Plantersbank chairman, Ambassador Jesus   P. Tambunting about plans to bring the Nobel laureates to the country. The Prince and Ambassador Tambunting expressed common opinion   about the significance of the program. The royal visitor also took opportunity   to learn about efforts to step up socio-economic development through support for   SMEs. Prince Alfred of Liechtenstein is chairman, CEO and board member   of various companies engaged in engineering, investment, banking and   consultancy.
